The coronavirus crisis has proved that radical change can happen in a short period of time. But can we harness this awareness to bring about systemic transformation? Can we take more care of ourselves, each other and the world we live and work in?
Having moved most of our life online, this forces us to reassess our technology and creativity. The Digital Care Manifesto is a call to take action and formulate possible, more caring alternatives to our digital culture of today. We would like to collectively write this manifesto with you, because the best way to predict the future is to create it.
How can we regain ownership of our online tools?
How can we reclaim social media as tools that benefit us all?
How can we transform data into a care tool?
How can we emancipate our digital future?
How can we redesign our digital space so that it enables a fairer distribution of resources?
Write your thoughts and ideas, vote for those of others.
Hopefully this Digital Care Manifesto can be a starting point for conversations IRL.
